CAPTAIN MURRAY cbserved that the Company's
agreement to undertake the working of the Hong Kong
wireless station was subject to suitable arrangements
being made with a connecting station at Shanghai, and
suggested that perhaps the British Minister in China
might be informed in order that he might facilitate
the establishment by the Company of the necessary
station in Shanghai.

SIR PHI IP CULIFFE-LISTER proposed that the
Foreign Office might keen this particular aspect of
the question in view, and if it were thought necessary
the Fritish Minister in China might be requested to
give his assistance.
CONCLUSION.
It was agreed:
to take note of the above correspondence pending a reply from the Officer
A ministering the Government of Hong Kong.
